After 25 years of dancing, I have started to promote the benefits of dance on people’s mind, body, soul and socio-emotional development. In order to achieve a balance in our development, I consider that an interdisciplinary approach is needed to look at the human body as a whole. Everything we express through movement has an emotional, psychic component that gives us clues about us and how we interact.
Feeling the healing power of dance, as therapeutic and creative tool I began to study and observe using movement analysis, the motivation behind the movements, the links it has with the psyche and the silent body language in social interactions.
My work was, is and will be guided by dance-therapists with experience from New York and London (i.e. Suzi Tortora, Tasha Colbert).
For me, my whole life remains a dance, in which I transform, rediscover myself and create my own choreography.
